Caustic Calcined Magnesite 94%

Caustic calcined magnesium 94% can be used as a fuel additive. It is commonly used in the production of fuel and lubricant additives and specifically in the production of over-based magnesium sulphonates and carboxylates, which serve as ash and corrosion management detergents (capture and pacification of vanadium, nickel, and sulfur compounds) in gas turbines and motors.

In rubber and plastic applications, the use of MgO as an acid scavenger, scorch retardant, or curing agent occurs during the cross-linking of several rubber compounds containing halogens or nitrile groups.

Another use of MgO is as a thickening agent for sheet and bulk molding compounds, as a hardening agent during phenolic resin curing, and as a raw material for hydrotalcites to be used as acid-scavenging additives in PVC and polyolefins.
