Sodium sulfate boiling point depends on the form in which it exists. Sodium sulfate can exist in anhydrous (without water) or hydrated forms.
Anhydrous sodium sulfate, also known as the decahydrate form, does not contain any water molecules. The boiling point of anhydrous sodium sulfate is approximately 1,429 degrees Celsius, or 2,604 degrees Fahrenheit. Hydrated forms of sodium sulfate contain water molecules, and their boiling points are lower than those of the anhydrous form. The most common hydrated form of sodium sulfate is the decahydrate (Na2SO4·10H2O). The boiling point of the decahydrate is around 32.4 degrees Celsius, or 90.3 degrees Fahrenheit. At this temperature, the decahydrate undergoes a phase change and loses its water molecules, transforming into an anhydrous form.
