Monodicalcium phosphate feed (MDCP) generally presents as an intermediate calcium phosphate in terms of phosphorus content, bioavailability, pH, reactivity, etc.

Feed grade calcium dihydrogen phosphate is a mineral feed additive; its performance is between feed-grade calcium dihydrogen phosphate and feed-grade calcium hydrogen phosphate, and its basic components are calcium hydrogen phosphate and dicalcium phosphate. Phosphorus has both water-soluble phosphorus and citric acid-soluble phosphorus, so it can be used not only in livestock and poultry feed but also in aquatic feed additives. This breed is gradually being promoted in the feed industry worldwide.

Monocalcium phosphate is used as a leavening agent, dough regulator, buffer, improver, coagulant, nutritional supplement, chelating agent, and baking softener. Cake, starter buffer, fruit acid coagulation in bread and biscuits, yeast food, meat texture improver, and improving saccharification and fermentation in brewing.
