Caustic Calcined Magnesia 90%

Caustic Calcined Magnesia 90% is magnesium hydroxide, a white amorphous powder. The suspension of magnesium hydroxide in water is called magnesium hydroxide emulsion. Magnesium hydroxide is a colorless hexagonal crystal or white powder, insoluble in water and alcohol, soluble in dilute acid and ammonium salt solution, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. The solubility in water is very small, but the water-soluble part is completely ionized. The concentration of the saturated aqueous solution was 1.9 mg/L (18°C). Heated to 350 °C to lose water and form magnesium oxide.

Magnesium oxide is also the main raw material for making magnesium oxide boards and grindstones. Magnesium oxide boards have good strength, are not easy to deform and crack, and have good water resistance. It is widely used in interior walls and ceilings; exterior walls and fences; outer sheaths; bushings and area partition wall panels; ceramic tile backing (back panels); and gaskets.
