Lightly Calcined Magnesite

Application: Lightly calcined magnesium, because of its high activity, is widely used in fertilizer, feed additives, industry, or environmental protection fields.

1. In agriculture, magnesium is used as a supplement for magnesium-deficient soils, especially for crops such as citrus, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and grass pastures.

2. In industry, MgO is used in magneisum salts production, filler of ceramic or rubber, fire retardant, or producing abrasive stones, fire retardants, filler in the rubber industry, and evmery stones. Also, MgO is used to precipitate the hydroxides of metals from the acid leachate solutions of their respective ores.

3. For environmental purposes, lightly calcined magnesite is used for waste water treatment and desulfurization of flue gas. In soil decontamination, MgO is used to get rid of heavy metals from the soil.
