Magnesium Oxide 87%

For the Indian market, magnesium oxide 87% is mainly used in abrasive stones, such as flour mill stones.

Emery grains, along with magnesium oxide 87% and magnesium chloride, are applied to the rice sheller cone in rice mills for polishing rice with minimum broken grains and faster output. The special rice polishing grade emery grains form a superior oxychloride bond, and as a result, the stone lasts longer.

In addition to the base material of MgO, other types of magnesium 'cements', wood flour, and various additives are included to improve manufacturing and enhance various properties. Most magnesia boards have some type of fibrous reinforcement within the core and/or on the face. Often, this takes the form of glass mesh, fibers, or a fine screed. The boards also contain other additives to enhance flexibility and weatherability. In other words, there are various types of MgO boards, but most are essentially the same in terms of their basic composition.

For some markets, caustic calcined magnesite can also be used in magnesium salt production. such as magnesium sulphate, magnesium nitrate.
