Potassium Sulfate 52%

Potassium sulfate 52% is a moderately water- and acid-soluble potassium source for uses compatible with sulfates. It combines potassium and sulfur, two nutrients essential for plant growth. SOP is a recommended source of potassium where soil pH needs to be lowered, when sulfur is required, or when N application rates should be limited (e.g., at the end of the season).

Naturally existing complex salts can also provide a source of potassium sulfate 52%. Choenite conversion and leaching, ore preparation and flotation, and moisture reduction in a rotary dryer might constitute a high-level summary of the process. Depending on the complicated salt being treated, this procedure could change.
