Potassium nitrate is a compound fertilizer in fertilizers. Potassium nitrate, commonly found in daily life, is a colorless, transparent, prismatic white particle (or crystalline powder) with a spicy taste and a certain degree of saltiness and coolness. Potassium nitrate has a slight deliquescence, but its deliquescence is slightly smaller than that of sodium nitrate. At the same time, it will not undergo a double decomposition reaction with any acid, alkali, or salt because both potassium and nitrate are easily soluble in water (or unable to generate precipitation, gas, or water).
