Hazards Identification

Flammable liquid and vapor
Causes severe skin burns and eye damage
May cause respiratory irritation
Suspected of causing cancer
Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects
 

First Aid Measures

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Skin Contact: Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting.
 

Fire-fighting Measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide (CO2).
Specific hazards: Vapors may form explosive mixtures with air. Exposure to heat/sparks/open flame can ignite.
 

Accidental Release Measures

Evacuate unnecessary personnel. Eliminate all ignition sources.
Absorb spilled material with sand, earth, or other non-combustible material.
 

Handling and Storage

Handle and store in a well-ventilated area, away from heat, sparks, and open flame.
Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Respiratory protection: Use a NIOSH-approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded.
Eye/face protection: Wear safety glasses or goggles.
Skin protection: Wear impervious gloves and protective clothing.
