In the cosmetics industry, sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) is used to formulate hand soap, shampoo, compound soap, foam bath liquid, and facial cleanser, among other cleansing cosmetics. It's also handy for creating glass cleaners, car cleaners, and other hard surface cleaners, often combined with K12, LAS-Na, 6501, and similar additives.

In the detergent industry, sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) is used to prepare liquid detergents and compound laundry powders (soaps), offering functions like foaming, cleaning, and solubilizing. It's commonly employed in phosphorus-free, low-phosphorus, heavy-duty, and degreasing detergents.
