DEAD BURNED MAGNESITE, main chemical composition is MgO. Which is burned in the Rotary or Shaft kiln by sintering raw magnesite at a temperature of 1800℃. DBM is the prmary component in refractory materials. Refractory materials are nonmetallic substances which are extremely heat resistant and are of great industrial value as the linings in furnaces, kilns and reactors. The steel industry, for instance, is the largest user of refractory magnesia.
