As of the latest reports, the lysine sulphate price in China is experiencing fluctuations due to supply and demand dynamics. In June and July, the amino acid industry, particularly lysine production, is undergoing a peak maintenance period, yet the operational rate remains relatively high, ensuring adequate supply. Demand from buyers, however, continues to be subdued, with feed companies mainly maintaining necessary inventory levels, resulting in generally average overall amino acid transactions.

In June, domestic lysine prices saw an initial rise, followed by a decline. Specifically, the price range for 70% lysine was between ¥4900 and 5400/ton, while 98.5% lysine ranged from ¥9550 to 10300/ton. This week, the average market price for 70% lysine is approximately ¥5.2/kg.

From June to August, several companies will enter a peak maintenance period, so it's important to monitor supply-side developments, domestic and international demand, and the progress of anti-dumping investigations.
