Threonine Feed

L-threonine is a white orthorhombic system or crystalline powder. No odor, slightly sweet. Melt and decompose at 253℃. It is soluble in water at high temperatures, solubility is 20.5g/100ml at 25 degree℃. Insoluble in ethanol, ether, and chloroform.

Threonine feed participates in the formation of natural proteins and is an essential amino acid. L-threonine affects muscle growth and meat production efficiency. It is also one of several possible precursors of nonessential glycine acid, which is synthesized in an animal's body, and in this sense, Threonine feed plays a part in the regulation of digestion.
