Magnesium Oxide Powder 90%

Magnesium oxide powder 90% is manufactured by calcining the magnesite at 750~1000℃. The main component is magnesium oxide (MGO).

Star Grace magnesium oxide powder 90%, can be used in the abrasive industry. As the owner of magnesite, we use the best quality ore with low SiO2 and CaO content to calcine MgO powder, which is suitable to use in producing abrasive stones such as flour mill stones and emery stones. Low CaO can make the stones hard. Low SiO2 can make the stones smooth. A moderate LOI can shorten the setting time.

Magnesium oxide, more commonly called magnesia, is a versatile mineral that, when used as part of a cement mixture and cast into thin cement panels under proper curing procedures and practices, can be used in residential and commercial building construction. The classic examples to prove the strength of Magnesia are the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors in China.

Magnesium supplementation is needed to prevent hypomagnesaemia (grass tetany-staggers) and milk fever (when calcium is also low) in beef (and dairy) cows from calving to peak milk production. Pasture dusting with magnesium oxide (Causmag) or supplying to fed hay or silage pre- and post-calving are methods that can work well.

The age of a cow is another risk factor, and cows over eight years old are more likely to drag you out in the rain at an unpleasant hour. A second capsule can be given in high-risk circumstances, or additional magnesium supplementation can be obtained from an alternate method discussed.
