Calcium nitrate 99% tech grade is white powder crystal, soluble in water, density: 1.896, decompose at about 40 while being heated up to 150, it will completely dehydrate and turn into anhydrous calcium nitrite, when temperature up to 500, it will decompose into calcium nitrate and oxygen, if the temperature continue to go up, it will eventually become calcium oxide and nitrogen oxide, it is freely soluble in methanol, alcohol, acetone, methyl acetate, and liquid ammonia. It is oxidizer, it is liable to deliquesce in the air. |
