1. The quarantine and work from home policy. This implementing policy means in the city our factory locate is locking down, which affecting the production efficiency directly.
2. For land transportation from the factory to the port, the number of vehicles with approval is limited, therefore the delivery efficiency and time limit are lengthened. The overall period has become 1-2 months from taking order to ship to the loading port.
3. In terms of shipping, the schedule of break bulk carrieres is also affected. The waiting time for berthing and loading has also been extended. Plus the original shipping schedule, the whole procedure can be lengthened nearly one more month.
Combined with the rising trend of raw materials, to maintain at a safe stock level, it is better to consider the next purchasing decisions 2-3 months in advance.
