Magnesium Oxide Powder Agricultural Grade

Magnesium oxide powder agricultural grade, is an ideal magnesium fertilizer. In Southeast Asia, 80% is widely used in palm, rubber, and banana plants. Another important application is the use of MgO powders in NPK-type fertilizers to either increase the Mg nutritional value or neutralize excess acidity in the production process.

In the abrasive industry, due to its very high bonding strength, MOC cement is largely used in the manufacture of grinding and polishing stones. In this application, MOC cement is used to bond SiC grains. The main end-users are the marble, granite, and mosaic processing industries.

In construction, magnesium oxide is used in producing MgO boards. MgO offers superior resistance to moisture versus traditional products on the market. Traditional products such as gypsum board, OSB, and plywood absorb water and moisture, resulting in mold or expansion and causing damage.

For poultry and livestock, feed supplements and mineral premixes are commonly used to provide the necessary levels of magnesium to the animals to prevent grass tetany. MgO is the most widely used source of magnesium for these applications.
