Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate MgSO4·7H2O

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate MgSO4·7H2O fertilizer grade is a water-soluble magnesium fertilizer that is suitable for topdressing, while slightly water-soluble magnesium fertilizer is suitable for base fertilizer. The amount of magnesium used is 15–22.5 kg/m2. The effect of topdressing was good at the early stage of crop growth. Spraying a 1% to 2% MgSO4/7H2O solution on the leaf to correct the symptoms of magnesium deficiency is quick but not lasting. It should be sprayed repeatedly. It contains 12% sulfur and 9% magnesium, which is not only used as magnesium fertilizer but also for the soil or lack of sulfur.

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate MgSO4·7H2O can be mixed with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to make compound fertilizer or mixed fertilizer according to different needs, and it can be mixed with one or more elements to make various fertilizers and photosynthetic fertilizers. After fertilization and actual fertilization experiments on 9 crops such as rubber trees, fruit trees, tobacco leaves, potatoes, and cereals, magnesium-containing compound fertilizers can increase crop growth by 15–50% compared to non-magnesium fertilizers.
