Sulfate of potash (SOP) is a colorless or white hexagonal, rhombic, crystalline, or granular powder. Soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, acetone, and carbon disulfide. It tastes bitter and salty.

It is a commonly used potassium fertilizer in agriculture, with a potassium content of about 50%.
