MgO Board Raw Material

Magnesium oxide can be used in MgO board raw materials. Magnesium board is a new multi-functional building material. The major raw materials are magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride, which are mixed with perlite, glass fiber mesh, and wood fiber in a certain proportion. It has the characteristics of being light, fireproof, high strength, sound absorption, heat insulation, non-toxic and harmless, corrosion resistance, and mildew resistance. It can be used as a wall, ceiling, floor lining, etc.

Magnesia-based industrial floors are heavy-duty floors based on sorel cement. Sorel cement is a hydraulic cement mixture of magnesium oxide (calcined magnesia) and magnesium chloride, which is usually combined with filler materials such as sand, aggregates, talcum, and pigments.

Magnesia-based industrial floors constitute an economical solution for a wide range of industrial sectors, such as automotive, aircraft, armament and aerospace, electrical and mechanical, printing, electronics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, clothing textiles, general warehouses, and furniture. Magnesium oxide is also used in abrasive raw materials.
